Q: I love the new slanted look, but can I shuffle these cards?
A: Yes, absolutely. The new Bush Cards are still fully functional as playing cards. You can shuffle and reshuffle them to your heart's content.
Q: Aside from the new shape, what are the changes in the Second Term Edition?
A: We've updated all the cards to reflect new titles and new positions. We've added many new faces to replace folks who have dropped out of the administration. We've added new quotes and new facts for many of the people who have stayed for the second term.
Q:This Second Term Edition is awesome, now I really want to see the first-term edition. Can I still buy the older cards?
A: Yes, we still have limited quantities of the last printing of the first term edition (version 2.1) available for sale on this website. Just click on the Buy Now button and you will be directed to our ordering page.
Q: I think I have one of the original printings of the cards. How can I tell for sure? How much is it worth?
A: On the "Enjoy" card there is small text in the corner which tells you the version number. The first printing is version 1.0. The value part is harder to answer. As with all fine collectibles, a lot of the value has to do with condition-for instance, is the cellophane still intact on the box? There were relatively few decks (less than 3000) printed in our original run and the cards were intended as a working political tool, so while it is really hard to guess how many remain in pristine condition, it's interesting to note that a number of better condition copies have recently been snapped up by museums and private collectors. That said, as a rule of thumb, we always tell people that the real joy is in the cards themselves today, not in any monetary reward they may bring in the future.
